madara vs hashirama flicker qte and how to get it done?

in the battle i was striving for s rank till i noticed that the flicker qte works only on a section or two but not all three. i need another way to beat it on s rank without having to restart every 10 minutes.

The QTEs have nothing to do with Ranks.
The only thing you need to watch out for is your health, below 90% you get A Rank and above you get S Rank.

wrong. all qtes need to be done for s rank. like you got any s ranks in story mode.

At the end of each battle; there is a perfomance log (by pressing X on the Xbox controller), and it will show you, it ACTUALLY matters, your health, tasks and QTE count towards this.

except the tasks. qte's still matter and the hp bar too.

well you don't need to wait for the inputs to appear, you can constantly spam all buttons at the same time before since there isn't a penalty.
