Naruto Storm 4 Mods

So does anyone know how viable the game is to the modding community? Storm Revolution had many, many good mods. are there any forums / mod sites for Storm 4 that you can think of? I checked Nexusmods but they haven't even gotten a page up for the game yet. if anything has been recently released, could someone throw me a quick link?

"like a normal person" what? first of all, I don't play multiplayer. only singleplayer. second of all, a, "normal person" wouldn't insinuate that people who use mods are anything but normal. grow up.

When will close-minded users like you get that MOVESET MODS ARE THE ONLY ONES that doesn't let the player go online?

And even so, YOU CAN play online with them as far as both players have the exact same Moveset Mods installed.

Anyways, back to the topic: @[13th] Benevlan Modding for Storm 4 is finding its way.
Some modders like EliteAce and Kristiqn5 mentioned that some files were encrypted, for example, the one containing some of the Boruto and Sarada effects or animations.
So yeah, it's going to take awhile.
Also, the XFBIN files are pretty similar to the prequels, but CC2 changed some things now, so Modders will apparently need to touch some things to get their previous mods working on Storm 4.

I would like to see some mods, except I don't really trust a bunch of websites since they could have viruses, but that is my opinion

Well, the reason the game lag happens for most people is because of the shaders and the reason people's GUI lags is because it's rendering to their CPU when they only have a good GPU.
If two mods were made separate in which one mod changes the shaders to a resolution of something small like 144p and the other mod finds a way to render GUI through the GPU, this would fix nearly everyone's problems with the game besides the crashing and dx11 error.
Though to be fair, the dx11 error can't be fixed without getting a new GPU really.

huh? I didn't say anything about the performance, did you accidently post in the wrong thread? also, most mods don't really change graphical or performance settings, just the gameplay data files / textures. unless you're talking about things like SweetFX or FXAA Injector, in which case I'm sure they'll gimp performance somewhat

ah, right. well if anyone is interested I found two mods that work with Storm 4, one is a port of a flaming Dark Naruto that overwrites Bijuu Naruto, and the other is one that replaces Six Paths Obito with Six Paths Sasuke. ie: a Sasuke that has the moveset of Juubito.

I hope BlackBeetleKing gets on this and makes ???% mods for the Last, Boruto, and Sage of Six Paths characters. They would be able to use everyone's ultimate in each of their combos from five direction startups, five direction combo enders, 5 direction square combos, 5 direction square combo startups, and combinations of circle and square combos for different branching paths. xD

yep, UltimateOmboStorm is probably my favorite naruto storm modder too. he made atleast three dozen completely original and modded movesets for Storm Revolution. an attack for basically every single button combination on the controller. hopefully he takes a look at the new code and tries to port some of his older mods onto Storm 4

YES! UOS and BBK are the best modders in the community! Most other modders just do TexMod.

I still find it mind-boggling how he could make such amazing animations to go with the new moveset. I mean, some of them were even better quality than the ones Bandai put out in vanilla.. but yea, I searched far and wide for NUSR mods and those two were the only ones who put out top-shelf quality mods, everyone else made basic TPF textures that weren't very good half the time.. I think I saw UOS say he was getting ready to start porting / making new Storm 4 mods on one of his video descriptions, can't wait for that first release to come along. hopefully all the mainstream hype this game attracts also brings in some new and capable players to the modding scene.

He's not making new animations, he's just using whats already in the game (or from previous games sometimes)

Not really, modding is a normal thing to do, and many times improves your game experience, so yeah...

And honestly some of us have a really hard time getting matched against people from our region and when we switch to worldwide the lag makes the game unplayable so we are pretty much forced to play solo.

really? they seemed new and original to me. are all the moves cut up into many tiny little animation files, which he can then put together in a new way, or? cause I really haven't seen most of the attacks he uses in any previous game.
