Sound scratching?

Is anyone else experiencing this? This ONLY happens during the opening screen, title screen, and menu screens. Whenever I press the "confirm" button (the A button on a controller) to select things, I hear the trademark sound but my speakers sound like they're exploding at the same time. I get this extremely loud CRSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSH noise coming from my speaker, but only on the menu screens and such, not during actual gameplay as far as I've noticed. What could be causing this and how could I fix it?

EDIT: I take that back. It happens during gameplay too. Every time there's any kind of "bass" noise, my speakers go crshshrshsrhshshrshh. I almost can't hear anything over it. Before you say "it's your speakers", it can't be. Everything else on my computer sounds perfectly fine, including other games. Including the previous Naruto games, as well. I was just playing Assassin's Creed Syndicate this morning with no problems. Is there a way I can change the speaker settings? Maybe the default setting isn't compatible with my setup?

Change your sound quality settings to something like 44100 Hz. You can do this somewhere in windows but I'm unable to give you exact instructions since my windows is set to a non-english language.

To fix it, right-click on the sound settings on the bottom right of your desktop. Click on "Playback Devices". Right-click and go to the properties of whatever you use to output audio. Go to the "Advanced" tab and change the format to 2 Channel, 24 bit, 44100Hz (Studio Quality).

100% fixed the problem. Thank you both SO MUCH. It was driving me absolutely crazy. I have been waiting for this game for what feels like forever, and right in the middle of one of the most epic battles in Naruto history, Madara vs Hashirama, I have to turn the damn game off because the sound is ruining it for me. You guys are awesome.
