"Support Only" characters from Revolution

Is it true that "support only" characters from Revolution are not included in Storm 4?

Cee, Kurotsuchi, Akatsuchi, Ao, Chojuro, Foo, Torune, Kurenai, Anko, Shizune
(Sound 4 already confirmed as DLC - Awesome)

If so then that would be sad... I mean... Removing "support only" characters instead of making them playable in the final storm game? I really hope that they will be included as DLC at a later point.

Seeing as there is a new mechanic in the game that allows you to swap the characters while in battle, then it makes sense to work on the support only characters and include them as DLC at some later point- I mean it's the last storm game, should give it everything it needs to feel complete.

I would love to see all the "Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist" as playable characters as well, but that would require even more work. Would be awesome though.

Yes, it is.
The only "Support Only" characters that are coming back are the Sound 4 Ninjas in the 3rd DLC Pack, that's it.

The reason that they are not putting in support only characters is because of the leader change system, you have to be able to change to one of your supports to be a playable character. Sad, but that would give them more work for the game.

I agree, but for some of the support characters, they have nothing really they can build from it, these are very minor characters that did nothing in the anime or manga but 1 jutsu or just straight up die. However, there are characters that where in the ultimate ninja games that I wish would be playable characters now that where back then, Anko, my simi-love. How I miss you from Ultimate Ninja 3 :(

@Lunos, they are from the Naruto story and have a place, C, Ao, Kurotsuchi, Torune, Fu, ect, supports from rev don't really have a place other than a side character. Iruka, Kushina, Konohamaru are part of the main story, and for Shisui, it was most likely added for that story mode, plus should be in the itachi special coming out soon, more of a reason to keep him other than him being in the short story novel (I believe he was in the short stories)

@Plutia, that is right, Kurenai was playable in the past Ultimate Ninja games too >.< fun character as well

Who cares? They didn't shown a thing in the Manga, thus, your previous argument is invalid.
Just because a character didn't shown something, it's not a reason to actually deny him a spot.
Also, if it counts, Chojuro is the 6th Mizukage and Kurotsuchi is the 4th Tsuchikage.

Also, if it counts: PTS Hanabi, PTS Naruto with Lee's Outfit, Anbu Kakashi and some others got their spots back in the Ultimate Ninja Saga while they didn't shown a thing in the Manga, so yeah, your argument is still invalid.

Did I mentioned that CC2 created both, the Ultimate Ninja Saga and the Ultimate Ninja Storm Saga?

Being a major plot character and being a minor character is 2 different things. As for the kage, that is only in the last chapter where they, yet again, do nothing, because nothing happens. I don't mind minor characters being playable, I am just saying that I understand why they are not playable, because they are minor characters. As for Hanabi, The Last Movie, Naruto with Lee's Outfit, a skin, Anbu Kakashi, in the anime.

If you take all of the support characters and give them move sets, balancing, the whole 9 yards, that is quiet a few more characters they would have to do. Plus there are no animations for these characters, taking more time into development for characters some people honestly don't care about.

"Being a major plot character" doesn't matter at all, this is a fighting game.
If we're talk about "major plot characters", Sound 4 shouldn't even be and they only are because of the Fanbase requesting them since Storm 1 for like 7 or 8 years ago.

You're pointlessly trying to defend and indefendable fact, the roster coulda been bigger and a lot of characters could been got a decent moveset.

Chojuro, Kurotsuchi, Kitsuchi, Ao, even fücking Torune since we only have 1 Aburame.
All of them could be really interesting characters with some CC2 Magic, just like Shisui was.
