It seems the game can't detect my controllers

Hi, so I just bought a pretty cheap M-TECH twin PlayStation controller, hopped straight to the game but it seems the game couldn't detect any inputs from the controller. I tried playing other games in Dolphin Emulator and it worked just fine. Any possible solution for this? Thanks!

Go to Steam --> Settings --> Controller --> General Controller Settings and make sure that your controller is detected. Then tick "PlayStation Configuration Support" and/or "Xbox Configuration Support". Give it a try on your first run and see if it works.

If not else, there's always an option to use x360ce emulator, but I strongly against it unless you aim for singleplayer gameplay.

Thank you! Will try that. I forgot earlier to mention that I've also tested it with another Steam games I own (MHRise) and it worked perfectly too, so I wonder if it's the game itself that didn't recognize my controllers. And I do in fact bought this game aiming for its multiplayer capability hahah, you know wanna have a good time with my brothers. So is using the x360ce bad or something? Thank you in advance!

No idea, but I heard it can cause the input lag. I have a quite powerful PC, so the lag is unnoticeable. I found it from this guide: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=955102242

It's explained in "My controller doesn't work in-game!" section. It's explained that, if you can't use the Steam Controller Settings like I said before, you can resort to Joy2Pad or Xpadder. You need to search around in Google how to set 'em up tho.
