How to beat rush spammers?

I play on my ps4 and i am at the point where the game is no longer fun online due to cheapness. I come across these low rank people that rush me in melee so fast i have zero recover time and waste all my teleports often never laying a hand on them so that way they have full teleports and can dodge all my attacks and they spam that rush tactic the entire match till i lose...currently i have found no way to get around this with any fighter i have practiced in player matches and everyone i come across so far does this and it goes on and on till they have like 7 wins and 0 lossses. Is there no way around this cheap bs?

Your comment makes no sense, also i asked a question and explained my problem if you don't know what dash spam is google it but it's a cheap method of winning in this game i have no way around hence the question

Good evening, Storm Newbie? By dash spam, do you mean counter dash? And by teleports you mean substitution?

im gonna tell you a little secret just pick minato or a character that uses a 1 hand rasengan when you sub insta press chakra + jutsu and rasengan their faces they will think twice before spaming that ♥♥♥♥

yes subs and no not counter dash it's this melee attacks you know how someone dashes in and starts to melee and you sub out? well what the problem is people are so fast they can dash to me in an instant and i can t attack or recover and they do this till all my subs are out and i can never hit them like right now i am losing to someone doing the same thing over and over

Oh, I got you. You see, in storm 4, they implemented another stage of chakra dashing. The first stage is the regular chakra dash (chakra + jump). The second stage is the faster chakra (hold chakra + jump), which is a lot faster and covers more distance. But the thing is you can tell when they can go for the second stage chakra stage chakra dash because they're in a "ready, set" position right before they dash (since you need more time in order to do the second stage dash) .

Okay okay, so you did mean counterdashing. Ok boy, let senpai give you a lesson. Counterdashing refers to chakra dashing immediately after you sub, which is basically as you described. You can either counter (which made solely for the purpose of preventing people from counterdashing, block, or jump over the chakra dash.

Counter rush or chakra guard counter is the only way to counter rush.

Really?... The regular combo cancel?.... Bro you're just bad... They can do that because your substituting is bad... They can easily predict when you sub. Sooo my advice. When you want to sub, think again and take a few more hits then substitute..
