Never used the word hard.
This would imply that 3v3s is harder
3v3 is a lot harder. If you didn't catch it, I argued for it in my original.
As I stated having two less reliable subs doesn't mean it's a good thing. (but what about those who don't use supports like neji, kimi.) cheers to that 1%
" 1v1 is a lot easier to grasp because you don't have to play around your opponents support"
instead you have to manage your chakra a lot more because you won't have a get out of jail free card i.e supports. You're able to do combos into ults against good players because once again they won't have 2 extra subs (suppports). When people awaken so on and so on.
" nor do you have to worry about timing and managing your own." ^
And I have a hard time understanding what being able to do combo to UJ more frequently makes 1v1s harder. I'd say that the fact makes 1v1s easier..
"Supports are by no means a get out of jail free card. Maybe that's how it works in low level games, but once you have reached a certain level, supports doesn't mean free subs or anthing of the like. "
We're going with the "oh it's because you're bad, this doesn't affect better players!" argument?
They nerfed Hidan's jutsu, why? Because it was basically another sub. Kimi is the exact same thing. The chances of you finishing a combo in the air while they have a neji or pain support laughable, and they aren't just good in the air they ♥♥♥♥ block on the ground as well. Not only that Neji's rotation last a while that time is going into the enemy getting his subs back (same with kimi). So yes they are basically less reliable subs.
"And I have a hard time understanding what being able to do combo to UJ more frequently makes 1v1s harder. I'd say that the fact makes 1v1s easier.."
It makes subs more valueable as chances are you don't want to take a combo + ult because you blew all your subs. You also missed the part where I mentioned having to control your chakra <3
And your view on free subs and supports is too simplistic. A strong support is never equal to anything free in this game. If you waste your own supports, and get out played by your opponent then a support like pain can seem like a free advantage. But he isn't. You get the advantage if your opponent gives it to you. There is nothing free about that.
And about chakra control, I'm not sure where I land on the that. I could argue both ways here.
"A game's balance is best assessed at high level of play. It's honestly the only relevant place that you can value balance. "
No pro storm 4 players so...?
"And your view on free subs and supports is too simplistic."
A simplistic view for a simplistic game no?
"A strong support is never equal to anything free in this game. If you waste your own supports"
Getting someone off you with a support isn't a waste, you still have another one and those told can hold off the enemy til you get your subs back.
" and get out played by your opponent then a support like pain can seem like a free advantage. But he isn't"
Clearly not true. In the air chances are he WILL stop your combo. On the ground chances are he will hit depending on where in a combo you're at. Also Pain is one of the weaker ♥♥♥♥ block supports Neji > Pain.
"You get the advantage if your opponent gives it to you. There is nothing free about that."
You get 2 free subs from supports like Neji and Kimi.
"And about chakra control, I'm not sure where I land on the that. I could argue both ways here."
What would their be to argue here? In teams you could pop neji and get chakra while in him, in solo if you blow all your chakra your chances of getting more are either a counter or praying the other guy has no chakra.
"They nerfed Hidan's jutsu, why? Because it was basically another sub. Kimi is the exact same thing. "

2nd point... If you are done arguing just say so.
A lot of the things you are saying are just untrue. 2 free subs? Judging from how you view supports it's obvious that you have a very long way to go in this game. Hidan hasn't been a strong support since Gen, and there are many supports a lot better than Kimi in this game.
It sounds like you are forgetting that both players have supports. And calling a support doesn't mean that it will go off, since you have plenty of options to hit it on upstart.
All of your points on supports aren't at all reflected in games when competent players play.
What would be considered high level play then? Not only is that subjective but I'd say the majority would say I am a "high level player". I've played every storm game aside from revolution, in storm 3 I had around 1300 matches around 1100 of them were wins. In storm 4 sadly their is no way to tell how many loses you have but I can say without a doubt I have less than 50 loses out of the 300 matches I have.
"A lot of the things you are saying are just untrue. 2 free subs?"
Like? Are they not basically two free subs? I've already stated how they're basically two free subs.
"Hidan hasn't been a strong support since Gen, and there are many supports a lot better than Kimi in this game."
My comment was regarding to how they nerfed him, I wasn't saying he was strong please read before writing things like this. And no kimi is one of the most used supports because as I've stated he along with people like neji are get out of jail free cards.
"It sounds like you are forgetting that both players have supports. "
Point being....?
"And calling a support doesn't mean that it will go off, since you have plenty of options to hit it on upstart"
Hence "less reliable sub"
Clearly, you're mistaken. It is WAY more skillful due to the FACT you lack way less resources.
Name anything in life that is consider harder when you have ample resources. You get stranded on an island, having one one lighter compared to having a lighter, bottle of water, and backpack makes surviving way easier. Please re-evaluate your previous statement.
This guys is really trying to argue this. Haha, it's clear that you already have a bias opinion about 3v3. Nothing in my statement was incorrect. You literally have two extra subs or dashes that are implemented in a game and you're stating that it make the game easier? You have someone that can jump in the game and shield you while you're charging chakra? And or do damage or send a projectile in order for you to regain composure. The debate isn't what mode has additional variables that make the game more strategic. The statement was 3v3 is WAY easier than 1v1. You cannot dispute that. Sorry.
I disputed it plenty, the fact that you are unable to comprehend it, is another matter. I doesn't surprise me when I read your take on the game in other threads. It's pretty obvious that you play the game at a low level, so I'm not really surprised.
