I like Sasori and Chiyo (Chiyo's tilt it's really useful when an enemy is close to you)
Basically follow these rules:
-Never stop chakra dashing, don't give your enemy a single chance to start running.
-You can use block + Left joystick to move your puppet wherever you want, really useful if you use it strategically
-If your puppet falls, jump and run, use Counter (guard + square) to keep your enemy away.
If you still choose to use puppet users I suggest learning to spam the counter if your puppet gets knocked down cause without it you can't even use paper bombs
As for tips.. My best advice is pick supports that compliment the puppet play style. When you are learning puppets you will mostly be playing defensive, and you'll need proper defensive supports. I'd recommend Pain and Kakuzu for starters.
If you need some inspiration, check out some of my vids, I have quite a bit of puppet game play uploade ;)
