Could you post the specs of your PC? and Which version of windows do you have?
Add your graphic card info in the specs as well.
There could be many reasons why it doesn't work: missing awakening files for Guruguru Obito, missing awakening animation, game didn't expect you to have two Tobis on your team (Guruguru mod is a model swap of Tobi), etc.
TL:DR; Play vanilla online.
I've never had the game crash during those, even online, but I would assume that there's something wrong in terms of a memory leak that could be caused due to a missing or corrupted file. If the game crashes when you try the Linked Awakening offline with those two teams, verify your game cache. If it doesn't crash offline, try having both of you verify your game caches and see if that works.
If it still crashes afterwards, you might want to disable Touch and Handwriting panel Service (Or whatever it's called) since it's a huge memory hog.
