How to extract Storm 4's soundtrack / background music / OST / BSO

1- Download CriPackTools[mega.nz].

2- Extract the contents of the folder "CriPakTools-master".

3- Go to your game folder: "...\Steam\SteamApps\common\NARUTO SHIPPUDEN Ultimate Ninja STORM 4\data\patch\-NUMBER-\"

4- Copy the file "data.cpk" you'll find there into the CriPakTools-master folder in Step #2.

5- Double click the file "1-EXTRACT_ALL(no_decompression).bat" and wait for the window to close. A new "data" folder was created in the CriPakTools-master folder.

6- Download QuickBMS[aluigi.altervista.org] and extract the contents in a new folder.

7- Download awb_afs2 script[aluigi.altervista.org] into the QuickBMS folder in Step #6, and double click on the file "quickbms.exe".

8- When asked, browse the file "awb_afs2.bms" and click Open.

9- Then, browse the "data" folder created in Step #5: "...\CriPakTools-master\data\sound\PC", click on "BGM.awb", and then click Open.

10- Finally, select a new output folder anywhere and click Save, then wait for the extraction to finish and close the window. You'll find a lot of .HCA files in the output folder.

11- Download HCA Decoder[mega.nz] and extract it. In the extracted folder, again extract the file "HCA_decoder_v1.12.zip". There you'll find a file called "hca.exe".

12- Go to the folder created in Step #10, drag all the .HCA files upon the file "hca.exe" in the HCA Decoder 1.12 folder, and wait for the conversion to finish.

There you go, all the files have been converted into WAV songs.

But thoses softwares can be useful to create our own ost in the game, for example use the soundtrack from the anime.

Hey, thanks a ton for this. It helped me find the game's BGM.awb file; I needed it in order to replace the game's music, but I had no idea which cpk it was in (wasn't in any of the sound cpks).

My music replacement works great now with this AWB. You rock!
