can somebody help me with signing a ps4 controller up to Storm 4??

Sure! There are 2 ways to use a PS4 controller in Storm 4, and both of them require making your PC think that it's an XBOX 360 controller.
Method 1: Download and configure x360ce, there are plenty of youtube tutorials about how to do this, so you shouldn't have any problems.
Method 2 (I recommend this one): Download InputMapper from here: https://inputmapper.com/ It's really easy to use, but if you have any questions, you can use google or ask me.

I use DS4Windows and its work i can play with my ps4 controller , you need to connect your PS4 controller to your PC launch DS4 windows if ur PS4 controller change color to blue its good, now launch the game and yeah now u can Enjoy the game ^^' Look at this Tutorial to how to instal DS4Windows :
1. Download zip
2. Extract the 2 programs (DS4Windows and DS4Updater) in the zip wherever you please (My Docs, Program Files, etc.)
3. Launch DS4Windows
4. If not in Program Files, choose where you want to save profiles
5. A windows will pop up showing how to install the driver, if not, go to settings and click "Controller/Driver Setup"
5.1 If you have used SCP's tool in the past, you may need to uninstall the drivers to use the DS4 with bluetooth
6. Connect the DS4 via a micro usb or through bluetooth (DS4 Device name: "Wireless Controller") may need to enter pair code: 0000)
7. All should be good to go once you connect the controller, if not restart DS4Windows, or even your computer.

Can someone tell me how to switch the ingame controls from xbox to ps4? I use a ds4 (ds4windows) but the controls shown are that of the xbox. Thanks

Actually I tried using x360ce and realised I could just go into big picture and change the controller options from global default to force on, hope this helps!

Thanks! Worked for me aswell.
I count up the steps additionally if anyone else would have an issue.

1. Connect PS4 Controller to PC
2. Press PS4 Button to start BIG PICTURE Mode
3. Change Controller from global default to force on
4. Enjoy playing

Right click on Storm 4 in your Steam library, go into Properties, in the Controller tab select Controller General Settings to open the Controller Settings window and enable Playstation Configuration Support, then make sure Use default settings is selected in the Properties window.

I did as normal, but I couldn't find that controller.

In my instructions, you're not looking for a controller, just enabling Playstation support.

I tried, the game still shows xbox control.

Lol, this entire discussion is about getting a Playstation contoller to work, not to show Playstaion UI because, Storm 4 doesn't have a built-in Playstation UI, you will need a mod for that:
