Storm 3 has less chars than Storm 4, Storm 4 has the option to change the leader of your ninja team during the fight (you can t do that in Storm 3).
Storm 3 has spectator mode during Tournament mode and endless battle mode, Storm 4 took that away. In Storm 3 you can turn off the mic of your opponent inside the game, in Storm 4 you can t do that, you have to disable your mic from windows and turn off your sound if your opponent start making ackward sounds during a fight.
Hope this helps you :)
Ok thanks, yeah, that helped alot, I think I'll be going for 3 unless anyone has anything else to add that may sway me otherwise.
Storm 3 is largely unbalanced, Storm 4 is more balanced. Storm 4 has more variety of characters than Storm 3 due to combo changes in some characters. Storm 4 doesn't have moves that are unsubbable, Storm 3 does. Most of the storm 3 unsubbable moves are also unblockable as well. Storm 3 has an exploitable support combo system that allows users to cancel anything into anything with no chakra expense besides if they dash or do a jutsu in which it cancels with normal chakra depletion as opposed to the extra depletion if they just did it from a combo.
Storm 3 only allows UJ and U3 during combo after you ninja move cancel or exploit the broken support combo system, Storm 4 is more flexible on it (It lets you UJ and U3 out of combo with the expense of having 75% or so damage from the UJ/U3) Storm 3's U3 is unblockable and unsubbable at close range and deals way more damage than U3s in Storm 4.
TL;DR: Storm 3 is built for story mode and visual aesthetics, Storm 4 is built how a fighting game should be built and focuses more on actual fun combat.
Something tells me t hat wasn't actually a helpful feedback and more like trolling >_> Also, wasn't asking for your opinion of either game but how they are compared to each other. Also, if you don't like the game/s which it seems you do not then why is it that you own this one?
Ok, just seemed like alot of hate and a little offensiveness toward the players.
Honestly don't think age group matters persay, alot of people even in their late 20s and early 30s like Naruto and perhaps even older.
Most people that enjoy Storm 3 only care about pressing one or two buttons the whole game. They prefer story-based games and don't care about playing anything other than Story or against a couple of friends.
Most people that enjoy Storm 4 care about tiers, combos (albeit very simple), and solid mechanics that reward the player for playing more intelligently rather than just mashing.
The response isn't supposed to favor one or the other. As I said, it depends on what you want to do. I've already stated that you should get Storm 3 if you want more flash and less bang, but Storm 4 if you want real fighting substance. In my opinion, it's more helpful to give someone options and let them know which one is better for different preferences rather than just saying one is better than the other. When it comes down to it, neither game is better than the other in an overall sense, they're just better in different areas than the other.
Well my question was one over the other NOT why you dislike both so much. Logically 4 should be better as its a follow up thus should contain more and/or better features, perhaps even more content storyline. Sort of makes me think back in DBZ Budokai which I hated cus they made follow ons that were pretty much the SAME thing but with more added content! imo the added content should have just been DLC but this was back when we had games on the PS2 so DLC wasn't really that heard of.
And that is what exactly?
