Ps4 Dualshock 4 Controller on Ninja Storm 4?

Hello, I bought this game while it was on sale and it won't let me use my ps4 controller to play it. If the keyboard controls weren't super confusing I'd use those but they don't make any sense. If anyone knows how to get it to work, please help.

in steam client click "Steam" button in upper left corner drop down menu will appear click on settings from there you will get a new tab opened one of the options there will be called "controller" click on it after that click on "GENERAL CONTROLLER SETTINGS" from there another tab will pop up select "PLAYSTATION CONFIGURATION SUPPORT" (assuming you are using a dualshock 4) then exit the tabs you opened
if youve already done this search for an xbox 360 controller emulator tutorial for storm 4 on youtube

It works like charm to me, even to my PS2 controller over USB connection. The guy in the guide said that using X360CE has unnoticeable problems. I've been using the method that guy offered on Ace Combat 7 even to this day.

Still, it's the OP's decision whether he wants to use Steam controller settings to assign the gamepad via Big Picture mode or using X360CE with a bit of complication here and there.
