Well that's not quite the reason why I don't like it. If that were the case I'd just learn how to play around it, which I already have. I understand the mechanics just fine and there are OBVIOUSLY tactics that get around dash cut, but it's not fun to play that way.

Dash cut encourages a defensive playstyle not just from the user but from the opponent as well. If you can't see understand that then I don't know what to tell you other than Dash Cut is ♥♥♥.
