Modding?

NUNSR let me mod like crazy and runs just fine. But any mods I use here seem to freeze up the game. Is there something I am missing here?

Well, if you didn't want to get Storm Revolution, just make mods that don't use as many resources. This means mostly limiting how many particles you use and really long move sets.

I find that stuff CrownClown makes are amazing, but because of how many hits he has in one combo alone (Including the fact he has the startup changers and the default changers combined, directional shuriken combos, etc.) the game will easily crash.

Edit: Not sure if any modders actually found ways to save on memory and have bigger move sets. Finding a way to optimize the game's hex itself may be the way to go. Or maybe some form of compression would be needed.

I am in no way a modder and I have no skills in that department. However, I pick up mods from people like HyugaJonin and AnbuStorm. I actually have NUNSR modded with okayish combo mods. I really like the multiple jutsus per character mod. But there is one trouble I am having that is annoying me now. I have discovered some bugs.

The bugs are likely 99% the modders fault, or the combination of two mods made by two separate people together.

I say ask the modder. That is, if they aren't immature 10 year olds that will block you. Because a lot of Storm 4 modders do that over "hate" comments.

I meant actual in game. For example. For some odd reason Kakashi has a broken fire ball jutsu. The other problem is that Sasuke (road to boruto), His jutsu work but doesnt hit or cause damage ever. I am also stuck on the boss fight of Susano'o Kurama vs Momoshiki because he cannot hit me with "b" attacks and I cannot do the same. Also cannot break out of the bindings via button mash either.

Even if it seems like it isn't the mod, it probably is. I don't have any of those issues. Plus, who knows what modders rearrange when they mod games.

Yep, I've talked to people who've modded the games intensely, which is why I can be confident about this. Plus, UNSR uses a different engine from 4. There's hints in UNSR that point to it using a modified Storm 2 engine similar to Generations while Storm 4 uses Storm 3's engine with DX11 injected.

And another correlation: Storm 3 crashes a lot on mods too. Not as much as Storm 4, but I bet extra RAM usage due to more particles and more powerful DX11 APIs is the cause for that.

Gotta love how you're salty that I answered your question in a completely different discussion board and now you're stalking every post I make.

1) I'm not a troll. When you ask for how to get better, maybe take some advice instead of calling it "trolling". You literally asked how to improve and I told you. End of story.

So. I uninsatlled and reinstalled. No MODS. And I still have the same glitches as before. Cannot do the Road to Boruto bossfight. Sasuke (road to boruto) Jutsu works but does not connect. Kakashi has no fireball jutsu. Sasuke has no normal fire ball justu.

Hm, I honestly have no clue what's going on. I've never experienced this. The most advice I can give is that you should delete the data folder and NSUNS4.exe, then verify cache.

The reason why I'm suggesting this is because sometimes Steam doesn't realize when something's wrong when verifying cache unless it's made obvious for the app.

This will force Steam to essentially redownload the data files from a fresh source instead of your steam cloud. If that doesn't work, I've got nothing. Sorry, man.
