[STORM Legacy] No Storm Generations?
There isn't really a store page for the STORM Legacy/Trilogy, so I figure I'd post here.

It seems that Bandai wants to forget that UNS Generations and Revolution happened. Here's to hoping that UNSG gets a Steam release alongside 1 and 2 (Even if it isn't in the STORM Legacy pack.)

Revolution shouldn't have happened but yeah it would be great if generations was included. Revolution even managed to ♥♥♥♥ up storm 4 because it was used as a foundation for storm 4.

In my opinion, Generations was the best one. It felt like people only hated it because it wasn't dumbed down.

Hint : There is trilogy in the title. Hence only three games.

I doubt it. Generations and Revoltion was "filler" games with no real story. I can't imagine they'll do it.

Hint: I was talking about the standalone games releasing alongside the trilogy on steam.

Hint2: Reading a topic before commenting helps.

Hate to burst your bubble, but fighting games are meant to be played for their gameplay. Not releasing a game on steam just because it didn't have a story mode is almost as retarded as saying we shouldn't release a Naruto game on steam since they aren't FPS games.

Not bursting any bubbles here. Just stating the facts.

The number one priority for companies isn't gameplay but sales. I assume they released those games because they will sell better. They have more content and are more easily marketed.

Nope, you only think they'll sell better because you're assuming everyone wants them for story.

There are multiple communities dedicated to pushing UNSG to its utmost competitive limit. Considering that they're really active, I'd wager to say more people care about Generations.

Storm 1+2 doesn't even have nearly the amount of people in their community as Generations still has. Just stating facts.

Plus, Generations uses S2 engine, which means it's just as easy to port as S2 with superior flexibility in modding compared to UNS3 Full Trash and its sequels.

The mindgames in UNSG are crazy good too. Block cancelling a ground cd leaves you open, but if you know that the opp will go for a combo you can cKunai out of it with a chitem balance team. If they know that you're going to do it, they may back CD and the question then becomes whether or not it's worth it to cKunai if they back CD, or if you can follow up such as a UJ if they were in a corner and so on.

And how big are those "communites"? 10-20 peole? a hundred people? Unless you know of some massive compettive Naruto communities that I haven't heard of, I doubt they have much say in such a matter.

There's enough to easily bring hype if they do announce it. How much say they have with CC2? Not much, but I'm sure if a petition was made it would be successful.

If you ever hear about any petition or decide to do it by yourself, let me know, I'll gladly join. However as for now only 1 & 2 (and 3 for PS/XBOX) rereleases were announced, I'm sure that if they wanted to rerelease Generations too, they'd inform people about it already. But since Road To Boruto was (at least as they said) the last DLC to Storm 4 and new Boruto game is not going to come fast because manga & anime just started - they have some time to remake Generations and rerelease it for those who wait for anything new.

I wish that'd be the case, but it's way too close to release date and nobody from the Storm Generations competitive community wants to support it unless we get hundreds of people willing to back it.

well, Generations is indeed the best storm game, you know why, because it gives you a lot of freedom when it comes to fighting, like for example you can cancel your tilts, and it was the last storm game that had the 4th combo.
