How to achieve S-rank in battle with Monkey Rock (Solved)

This battle contains QTE-section where you need to pressing B button so Kurama can break the bonds and counter attack the Monkey Rock.

The problem is the game didn't count my button presses, so Monkey Rock always smash me, leading to losing S-rank.

I'm playing on the Xbox-controller. Looks the B is right button, because when I hit it, I hear the sound.

OK, that was a bug. Had finished QTE as it planned using the keyboard. Turns out bug is reproduced only with Xbox gamepad.

Need to find a way to contact with the developers.

Doesn't work for me! I tried playing with the keyboard but nothing happens: those bonds don't break anyway! Does anybody know a way to fix this?

They breaked. You just need to pushing these buttons hard. It's not easy QTE, even with keyboard i done it not at the first attempt.

I know I'm a bit late, but I fixed it. All you have to do if you encounter this, is to cap your fps to 30 and enable v-sync in the settings.

Helpful as always, but I managed to get perfect S-ranks in Boruto's Tale just fine with 60 FPS cap. Just don't turn MSAA up; it slows the game down for no reason.
