State of The Game & Dedicated Servers
So this question has been running around in my head since I've gotten this game for the PC - and that is, why hasn't CC2 implemented dedicated servers into S4 yet? Now, hear me out before you go full keyboard-warrior mode on the comments.

Dedicated servers can fix a lot of this games issues, and that is main connection to the other player AKA your opponent. From what I can understand, peer 2 peer works on S4, by choosing the player with the best connection to host the game, rather than the person who originally created the lobby, using their connection. I may be wrong, though. Regardless, this still doesn't change the issues of P2P. Dedicated servers would be an amazing step-up for the game from CC2. For example, the game would automatically connect you to the closest servers to you, aka the server with the best connection for you to play on. This means that other players will also be on that server or close to it - and that means that you are able to play against other players with a better connection, and eliminate that P2P laggy-ness. It also has the possibility of eliminating delay and connection issues AKA discons.

Though, the issue with dedicated servers is the cost. Although CC2 hasn't seemed to release an estimate on sales for games, but Saiyan island and other sites released data that was collected from other sites and publishings, that over 620,000 copies were pushed to the U.S, and over 88,000 were sold for PS4 and 46,000 for XBOX One. Here's the picture. http://i.imgur.com/vpUOTsQ.jpg

So, this somewhat means that PC got a bit of attention as well. Look at this picture of the steam charts for S4 - this is within an hour before this post was made! https://i.gyazo.com/b3fc7345b8dbaa5078e3fe9350922ad7.png

So, the real question here, is that where are all these players hiding at? Going back to dedicated servers for a moment and their cost, think about how many players would come back to S4 and play the multiplayer side of this game again. It would fix those major issues with P2P and discon issues, but at the same time, when implementing dedicated servers, they most likely have the extra time to fix the major bugs that have been reported!

TL;DR Where are the players that are stated to be active on the steam charts, and are dedicated servers ever going to be implemented onto S4?

What do you guys think, post down in the comment section of this thread and let everyone know what you think about this!

(Trust me, I know the cost of dedicated servers, especially for CC2.)

Dedicated servers would make the online gameplay experience worse. This should be common sense.

Not necessarily, it can provide more stable servers in a lot of cases and eliminate P2P all together.

What's the last fighting game you played using dedicated servers?

I personally cannot remember any other fighting I've played other than Naruto - so I can't really answer that.

Adding a server to the process for a 1v1 match just introduces a middleman that clogs up things more than anything else. For games that have more players participating simultaneously, it has a purpose. Fighting games use P2P for a reason.

Trust me, I've read that same exact thing on another forum. But, I've seen companies find their own ways around this. I'm sure CC2 can figure it out C:
