Characters not unlocking after Boruto Expansion install.

After installing the DLC it pretty much only gives me boruto is anyone else getting this?

Start by finishing the new story? You only get Boruto and Mecha-Naruto if you didn't do anything yet.

Like what Mangaman1001 said, finish the Road to Boruto story first (just the main quest) and you'll have 2 more borutos, another sarada, another hokage naruto and adult sasuke (same look as the alts of "The Last" versions but with better movesets IMO), mizuki, and both Sakura and Gaara's Road to Boruto costumes.

When I started I didn't get them at first but going through the story unlocked the missing characters. I didn't bother with the side quests and skipped FMVs, took less than 2 hours and I quite enjoyed the QTEs.

I don't know what's different in your friend's case, though.

Yeah I did the whole story and got the characters. it was weird though I was there when he bought it and he got all them immediately, So i assumed..but oh well
