There has been no mention of denuvo whatsoever. I don't think Sony has used it on any of the games they have published.
I really hope that they don't do something stupid like you are saying. I hate both denuvo and third party accounts.

I have skipped every game that I noticed had Denuvo before buying.
I say it like that because I did buy Dragon's Dogma 2 without checking the storepage.
It's not like I am missig out on much. Denuvo getting paid for the time their product is used also means they will drop the DRM eventually. Cheaper game without DRM; win-win.

They've used it on FF games.

Sony aka PlayStation Studios aka PlayStation Publishing does not publish FF games.
Having PSN/XBOX/Nintendo account associated to play a PC game is by far the worst of it all. I know XBOX and PS are doing that to one another right now but that's their problem who own those consoles. Ubisoft did that for decades with PC gamers and look at where Ubisoft is now in terms of financial position.

Final Fantasy is created and published by Square Enix themselves. Before Squaer merged with Enix, Square had developed FF and was published back then by different companies like Sony or Nintendo. After Square and Enix had merged, Square Enix does the whole deal in developing and publishing FF games.

Since I too want to give this game a go, I really hope it won't require PSN and Denuvo, it's a single player game, it doesn't need to constantly be online or have an invasive Anti-Cheat, whose going to complain about cheating, the AI enemies?

Unless the PSN and Denuvo crap is there to install a backdoor to siphon data from the players... (tinfoil hat on)

Please No PSN and Region Restriction
Neither Denuvo nor PSN is mentioned on the shop page and Sony changed PSN requirement in all SP games to optional in the past so please stop crying.
