Stellar Blade™

Love the game, HATE the bad REGIONAL PRICING.
I borrowed friend's PS5 and bought the game as a preorder back when it released first time, loved entirety of the game and I simple can't wait for the PC release.

I'd only wish they actually fixed up regional pricing cause it doesn't make sense in many places, but whatever. Game's good so I'd get it anyways, but I do feel horrible for other people from for example my country and some other countries too... Poland is getting unjustified markup...
USA - $80 / 297,57pln (base price)
Poland - $104.56 / 369.99pln
It just makes very little sense to me to punish countries with lesser income.
Not to mention places like... Costa Rica, South African Rand, Saudi Riyal... all around $90 to $105....

You can check the prices on steamdb for different countries.. .It's really bad, for some reason "default" conversion is really bad for some countries.
Switzerland have it the worst... It's $110 for them for the Complete Edition
I'm pretty sure Americans have to pay taxes on top of that price, no? Also just buy the game from cdkeys or elsewhere, it's way cheaper.

You could say that, but for example for Canada the price is $72 US which also don't include tax. If you forced on our tax rate it would be 23% which is still 7% lower than the current price of the game.

Also for the reference. 14 prices are above US. Rest of them are below.
The price is also ridiculous for Philippines and Australia. Like the game is decent but NOT premium AAA pricing. Sony's other catalog doesn't charge you this much for that matter like Rise of Ronin.

Sadly its common on steam. The "default" conversion is horrible. Steam also gives "suggested" conversions, but its rarely used. This one from what it looks like, was priced as default and then auto converted with this weird calculation.
The thing is that it wasn't like this a decade ago. It used to be that regional pricing made it affordable for poorer countries to buy games but now it's almost the reverse and people dread regional pricing.
Post covid economics and inflation really did a big number on the world.

Ah well ultimately I'm not complaining since at least in Japan the game is actually priced like a AA game.

Oh no. Sadly it's been thing forever ever since at least Poland got their own currency on steam... Everything got way more expensive by default, unless it was manually adjusted by developer/publishers. I wish I could've changed my currency to USD or Euro... AT LEAST TO EURO, hell we're a part of European Uinion... Give me back by Dollars / Euro....
No I agree the price here on steam is a bit too high. But it's 20% cheaper on cdkeys so luckily there's that option.

Fun fact. Did you know the way I recovered my steam account some years ago is by giving the CDKEY to steam support? I rather not buy those second hard lol
I think because it's sony. their regional pricing is a lot more atrocious than bandai namco. we southeast asian people has a saying on foreign products :

"wait for good discount"

Why? It's the same as Euro price. 299 Zloty is only 0.10% less than us, and with 23% VAT for poland you're paying pretty close to what the US is.

VAT is 23% not 30% and even if. The game is not priced regionally, but using broken auto conversion system
