Korean copycat of Nier Automata

This game feels like an almost 1:1 copy of Nier Automata. They even had the male character rescue Eve like 9S did with 2B. Same floating companion, even the save zones are pretty much identical, with the music box and all. When you arrive on the ruined city... then it feels even more similar.

Nier Automata looks waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better and has a better introduction + overall story, though.

Not sure what a Maxim model is, but both the MC's are hot.
In any case, I don't like Nier. Couldn't even bother to finish it. I'm just pointing out that Stellar Blade feels staggeringly similar to it... because it is.

I'd say that the biggest difference in combat is that stellar blade is heavily reliant on parry/evade in order to win fights against the most common enemies, while on nier it was something you only super really needed for bosses, you could get away with not using it for the most part.

Yes. The flew Yoko Taro to Korea to meet up with Hyung Tae Kim and they had a friendly chat. Taro has also tweeted about how much he liked Stellar Blade in the past couple years.
I think people forget that many creatives aren't as overly defensive of their own works compared to their more rabid fans and are willing to appreciate other people taking inspiration from their work, since they themselves do it all the time. Concepts don't come from a vacuum after all.

I doubt most, if any at all, are mad. They are just bored and think it's funny to troll Steam forums.

This could be easily fixed if we had plenty of high quality entertainment to keep us busy but only a handful of modern games/movies/anime/manga etc are worth be invested in. It is more fun to troll the fandom.

But even then you can't be certain if the people replying are equally bored and messing with the troll. It isn't uncommon for the troller to become the trollee in his own topic no less.
