Cool. I saved $650 by not having to buy a PS5 Pro.

The only reason I have a ps5 is to play coop game with my son, otherwise it's exclusively used by my son

Good on you. I've been playing since it was released because I've both a PS5 and a PC. Actually, I just want to say that this game looks gorgeous on my PC, the PS5, and even on my old laptop. And the Deck. Which is why I'll buy this game on Steam too. And if it came out on the Switch. I would buy it there, too.

I still can understand why players go for consoles considering how ridiculously expensive just mid range GPU's have become.

Right! A guy who never had a console in his life is trying to bait you into buying one.. :P

I have no stake in it either way ;)

From my point of view it is just a sad situation. Midrange and up gpu's are expensive already, highend gpu's have insane pricees and even instead of buying a mid range gpu you could get a console and have some money left.

I hate gamepads which is why I will never go for one, but many do not have this limitation.
