Stellar Blade™

Stellar Blade™

One tiny nitpick
Game runs amazing, looks beautiful.
Why can't I cap my FPS to 90? It can be capped to 30, 60 and then suddenly to 120, 144. I really would Like to cap it to 90.

If nvidia you can try limiting the fps in the nvidia app instead.

Graphics -> Stellar Blade -> Max Frame Rate

It's fine I used 120 and it runs well but sometimes it dips to around 90 that's why I want to lock it to 90, I prefer more stability over big number if possible.

yeah, not the first time i see games jumping from 60 to 120. Quite a big jump if you consider that the next ones are like 144 and 165 frame cap lol. I never used fps limiter outside of games but seems like u can use MangoHud to limit it, works with vulkan and proton

You can use gamescope to set a maximum refresh rate: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/gamescope?tab=readme-ov-file#examples

It also helps with other issues some games have with multi-head and other "uncommon" setups.

It's seems to be a pretty common thing, but i really want to know why.

90 is usually the sweet spot for me in most games I play to cap the frame rate at but not a lot of game natively support that cap.
