Stellar Blade™

Stellar Blade™

Jokes aside we gotta ask the serious question
No way does eve need to look like she does right? I’m sure this was the hot ticket selling point since I can remember back in 2022 the first shot we got were robot ass for promotional

she’s the result of artistic liberties and isn’t necessarily needed to be built like that, so is the gamers, we grapple to that cuz it’s hot. But is the game good, I’ve heard folks say yes and the studio literally raised the employees salary.

I guess is just wild we got a game where the main point of interest comes from its protagonist.

Oh wait re4 was like that too cuz papa leon:DMCJester1:

Stellar Blade sure as heck caught MY attention... for obvious reasons. after i played the demo is when i fell in love and wanted more. i prefer a world and environment where artists can create their visions without ridiculous politically-correct constraints.

I know you're trolling but:
  1. Eve is actually modeled after a real women just like many modern game character models are. Ironically, we've seen actor/model comparisons of a lot of western games showing that the model in many cases was made less feminine for women (but weirdly kept the same and accurate for handsome men...). In this case, she wasn't, because it's not something common in Asian culture. Eve's model actually looks pretty close to her: https://admin.esports.gg/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/stellar-blade-Eve-Shin-Jae-eun-968x544.png

  2. Both women and men like beautiful people. Not only is it programmed into us biologically, it's also cultural/social. There has been a TON of research over the years proving this, like the infamous asking-for-change study that saw beautiful and ugly people asking for change. Beautiful people got change dramatically more often, even for same-sex pairings. A recent poll also asked whether people prefer playing beautiful characters, and over 80% of WOMAN SAID YES. Of course men did as well.

  3. We often play as impossible heroes with inhumanely excellent skills and talents. There is zero reason to not give them matching appearance. They are representative ideals. Sure, you may never be as ripped or perfectly skilled/magical/whatever as Geralt or Batman, but you'd also never be as heroic as them and I would never roll the dice on anyone to be responsible with using such inherent everyday power for justice in real life. Both are okay because it's all pretend.

  4. It's a fantasy, and unless the story/seting requires otherwise, is indulgent. People make characters younger than they really are. Maybe with a hair style they wish they could pull off, or scars they think make them cool, or clothing they'd never wear in real life. Even premade characters follow this, and it's why appealing heroes in hero-based games are especially important. People grow attached to how they look, sound, and act as characters too.

Lastly, why does it matter? If you don't like how any facet of how the game looks, go play something else. God forbid we try to pretend like beautiful people don't exist and aren't universally preferred just because some of us are fragile snowflakes and are too mentally unstable to accept they're not in the 1% and be happy with that.

It's ironic because certain groups care talk about "gooner-bait" way more than the actual gooners do lmao. This game gets compared to Nier a lot and that's the reason a lot of people are interested, including me. And while yes, 2B is 'hot,' that alone wouldn't be enough to carry a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.

Nier Automata is a fantastic game, with fantastic music, a heartbreaking story, and fantastic bomat. Saying 2B being beautiful is the only reason anyone likes the game, just like saying the same here, says way more about you than anyone else lmao.

Lara Croft also didn't needed to look like that in the old games. Nor 2B needed to be looking like that, or bayonetta. Heck 2B has a button to explode her clothes and get more butt in your screen, bayonetta goes almost naked during executions... Why Eve is your problem?

If that's your reason for not liking the game you are shallow and stupid.

OP, you say that while you have a PFP of Ilulu in a bikini?

Heheh yeah I do, I get most folks here are dumb ♥♥♥♥♥, I never said I dislike it or sm I was just discussing how the she Lowkey didn’t need be built like a baddie, but artistic liberties can be a draw point to sm more.

I feel like ppl didn’t read that last bit well and missed that I was joking about even being the selling point. Tho ppl have bought nier automata for 2b only before:DMCJester1:

Every SINGLE game character should look attractive like Eve

Both male and female

That's what FICTIONAL CHARACTERS are meant to be, idealized versions of what they represent.

It was ALWAYS like this until the wokies infested the entertainment industry with their nonsense
