Also increase the price even further (and add working in kernel all the time software/spyware). That would def bring more customers right?

It is highly likely Sony won't budge on the region block issue, other Developers have had the same issue with them.

Yeah, it won't happen. Sony invented this problem out of thin air and they're doubling down on it for no reason.

All other games that have optional or mandatory account linking (ubisoft, EA, rockstar, cdpr, etc) are not region locked.

Even PS consoles and physical games are officially sold in non PSN regions.

This is just stupid.

It is not going to happen for two reasons:

1) They are too incompetent to expand PSN to those regions right now.
2) Which brings us to the second point. Unblocking this would mean dropping PSN, and they won't as that is their main purpose of coming to PC.

Its either sony will unblock it or shift up has to find a way to remove any involvement with the PSN. Best they could do is to remove the linking bonuses if they can really sell it globally, cuz that's the only thing i can think of that has even a scent of psn.

wont happen. Will stay blocked for very long time. Helldivers 2 is blocked from last year. Sony wont ublocked no mater what. And they need popular game like stellar blade to destroy. Destroyed last of us, concord is failure, god of war ragnarok also, spiderman 2.....

stellar blade is too important, so need to be destroyed. sony will do that, and ship up wont do a thing. have money no need for more. They absolutely dont care about costumers.

They care about every franchise they publish. But their PSN implementation is 10-15 years behind. You can not tell me any publisher wants to loose money. They are simply incapable of unblocking this because they are unable to meet the requirements to expand their psn services.

Yes, but removing the linking bonuses will not entice people to sign up for PSN which will in turn look bad to their investors. The whole point that they are here, is to increase PSN numbers. They are quite possibly the most incompetent publisher on PC and the only ones I am aware of that blocks more than half the worlds countries. Pathetic.

They lose on purpose 400milon dolars on concord. And many sony published games are aviable in locked region. Helldiver 2 was available, until backlash from pc players. Sony doing revenge now.

There is no revenge here. It is a legal issue and no company wants lawsuits. Concord was a woke magnum opus and deserved to fail. But again, they don't want it to fail, it's just bad leadership and incompetent management at Sony right now.

really strange how they arent lifting the region locks. they must plan on making account linking mandatory down the road again and dont want another situation where they have to refund a bunch of people.
