Denuvo means I can't play
TL;DR:
I AM PAYING MORE THAN 70 DOLLARS, I SHOULD BE ABLE TO PLAY IT WHEN I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ WANT AND NO THIRD PARTY SHOULD HAVE THE RIGHT TO TELL ME WHEN OR WHERE I PLAY.
---------------------
Thanks for making sure that even if I were to buy the game, denuvo will insure I can never ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ play it. (Always-online requirement for an offline single player ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game)

Nothing like incompetent trash running a fortune 500 company. This is idiots from activision-blizzard going "don't you all have phones" all over again.

Adding denuvo means steam deck players get ♥♥♥♥♥♥, linux players get ♥♥♥♥♥♥, AND windows 11 players might get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ because of how the driver updates work now.

The fact any company continues to utilize denuvo in 2025 and claims it's "for the business" indicates how unbelievably detached and uneducated the c-suite is from the reality of todays internet.

There's not a single instance of a success story for denuvo in their entire history as a company. This is literal malware designed to trick boomers in c-suite positions to steal their money directly at the cost of the business' potential customers and current customers.

There is no always online requirement.

If I can't play anytime I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ want, when I want, and at ANY time I am interrupted by an online pop up requirement, it's an "always online" requirement.

Pretending otherwise to be pedantic for the sake of a company that actively causes functional problems with the software they involve themselves in is a bit much.

Chair Force One pretty much nailed it. Plus, denuvo is essentially malware and should have no place on a computer.

Also, a singleplayer title needing to periodically ping an external server for verification is in itself outrageous enough.

You are never interrupted whilst you are in game.

Are you actually reading what has been said or are you also being pedantic and intentionally misunderstanding the core of the issue here?

If I have to do ANY SINGLE THING OUTSIDE OF CLICKING OPEN ON THIS SOFTWARE, that is UNACCEPTABLE.

THIS IS AN OFFLINE GAME.

THIS IS SINGLE PLAYER.

PIRATES SHOULD NOT GET A BETTER EXPERIENCE THAN A PAYING CUSTOMER.

How is this difficult to understand?

You do realize that's not happening right? Denuvo isn't cracked anymore these days. They use shared accounts which is the same game we play, with Denuvo, with more steps and limitations.

One can always hope. Perhaps AI will be what shuts Denuvo down.

I realize there are people in the comments here that are clearly misinformed or actively spreading misinformation, other than that, no, in fact, there's not been a single instance in the entirety of denuvo's history where there was a game that was not cracked.
Not one.
There's literally FOUR GROUPS who PRIDE themselves on cracking denuvo before a week is up with the best one having a record of cracking denuvo in 10 HOURS. Oh, yes you're definitely a source of reliable information on this one.

Yea, google what I said and google what they said, mine has evidence, theirs doesn't, if you don't like what I say or how I say it, then you have a problem more with facts than with presentation.

I hate to tell you but that was a while ago. Most of them have gone silent, probably got a job at Denuvo. Just as an example Black Myth Wukong is a Denuvo game and remains uncracked, so does Resident Evil 4 Remake.
Fact is Denuvo isn't being cracked. Its function as a DRM is largely unquestionable. However the function of a DRM is another topic.

I just searched TPB and every game listed has a crack.

Where are you people getting your information? The denuvo website?

Lil did RE4 and EMP(rvil) did BMW; I'm trying to provide evidence without getting banned but it's very clear no one here intends to actually do any research and are trying to get me to prove the point so you can get me banned.

No one has cracked Denuvo on new games since Empress left which is years ago now. There's been a few lucky leaked unprotected exe's and demo bypass. That's it, no cracks for new games.

No, but I also don't download my software from indian YouTubers. "100% Legit Working 2025".

I could literally say the exact same about denuvo? Are you high?
My bad, turns out RE4RE was Empress' work before she quit. Wukong stays protected though.
