Pretending otherwise to be pedantic for the sake of a company that actively causes functional problems with the software they involve themselves in is a bit much.
Also, a singleplayer title needing to periodically ping an external server for verification is in itself outrageous enough.
Are you actually reading what has been said or are you also being pedantic and intentionally misunderstanding the core of the issue here?
If I have to do ANY SINGLE THING OUTSIDE OF CLICKING OPEN ON THIS SOFTWARE, that is UNACCEPTABLE.
THIS IS AN OFFLINE GAME.

Not one.
There's literally FOUR GROUPS who PRIDE themselves on cracking denuvo before a week is up with the best one having a record of cracking denuvo in 10 HOURS. Oh, yes you're definitely a source of reliable information on this one.
Fact is Denuvo isn't being cracked. Its function as a DRM is largely unquestionable. However the function of a DRM is another topic.
Where are you people getting your information? The denuvo website?
