WOW! How many times you've completed it?! I've played it twice. First i've played the US version. Didn't do everything because there are a lot of misseable quests. Then i've bought a Japanese Xbox 360 and played the Japanese version (I play both US and Japanese versions of almost every JRPG to see the differences). I did everything in the Japanese version except the last boss, that's the only achievment left. I'm collecting those +20 STR and MAG Kammonds to see whats the max damage i can get.
This is what i've got without those +20 kammonds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8rawplIgbE&ab_channel=R.E.D.ODA
The DLC weapons let you equip 18 of these so its +360 STR or MAG.
Good question, how many times have I finished the game?
I think it was in 2010 when I bought it with my first paycheck from the German army.
At first, I played through it two or three times before I started trying hard (successfully) to get all the achievements. And yes, the quests were tough. If you get too far in the story or are too slow defeating enemies, an important NPC for the achievement is dead. =(
And yes, I spent a lot of hours farming. As you rightly mentioned, with the DLC weapons you can integrate 18 Kamonds. Well, there are 6 characters, so you farm 108 of them.
I was just curious to see what was possible. ^^
The most annoying fight in my opinion was the one against Juto, when you forgot to take the DLC weapon/equipment away from him before the fight. Dark Souls is a joke compared to that xD
It was one of my first JRPGs and it was really fun, which is why I played it with my sister and friends (well, they played and I was kind of the advisor^^).
But maybe we'll get lucky and the game will be released on GOG at some point. Lately I've been seeing a lot of releases of games that I used to enjoy on the PS1, like DINO Crisis.
