Damn you to hell Sony
I remember I preordered Ghost of tsushima before Sony implemented PSN and after 10th May 2024 my order was refunded by Steam and I got 60$ back I just hope Sony doesn't put PSN on this game too
Seems almost certain they will put it though...
Will Stella-Blade be region-locked?
Yes, it will for sure.
Simply because we are not their target customer.
You can just look at Ghost of Tsushima's all-time peak on SteamDB; they region-locked 130 countries in the world, and the game still reached 77,154.
They region-lock us, people from poorer countries, because they know it is not worth their time and money on lawsuits and taxing stuff, just to have some more thousands of players. Sadly now Sail the High Sea is our only option left.
It is not about money; they are sending a message that they don't need us.
Sadly, Sony promoted DEI - Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Well, this is nothing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at all.
That's an absolutely stupid take, it's nothing like that, Sony just regions locks games because PSN and Sony are stupid and don't need money.
If they region lock this game in my country, I'll pirate the hell out of it. Ez
where there is a will, there is always a way.
