Report a translation problem
The story, in my opinion, is pretty good, but told badly (it is also known to be a very unapologetic rip of Nier, but I never played that game so this was fresh to me). Story problems feel like a translation issue more than anything else.
Combat is very good/clean and is the main draw of the game imo, except for the soundtrack, which is wall to wall bangers.
I do recommend this game but I have to be honest and say that I don't know how much of the draw is subconsciously the character model, despite me feeling like it isn't.
I find it refreshing to have an super attractive female in a game (one that is based on a real woman. Eve's look is based on a korean model, there are articles and images of the studio scanning her body and everything).
Besides all that, the gameplay has been said to be a lot of fun and visually it looks amazing.
It's your problem entirely that you didn't bother checking some gameplay out, or watching a summary from someone you like watching (if you do that).
I only tried the demo on a PS5 at a friend's place, (was going to buy it on PC) and I absolutely loved the atmosphere, thought the music was great and thought the combat felt really cool and flashy and decently satisfying. It didn't feel particularly hard, but not every game needs to be that hard to be really enjoyable.
If you like character action games, I think you will like this. If the fanservice stuff is annoying to you (I don't particularly care for it usually), you can use costumes that aren't fanservice-y.
