The Devs said the DRM (Denuvo) is safe
So now simmer down and get the game like i did!

Link to where the devs said the drm is safe and does not have any performance degradation! They tested it! (Twitter)

Hold on. Were you expecting they would say unsafe?

I want something I buy to not have stupid drm on it that only punished me. When it’s cracked it isn’t going to punish piracy. It just punishes those who buy it.

And I’ve already bought it on PS5. I would’ve bought it on Steam already if not for Denuvo.

I get the sense most who make silly attempts at insults like this buy fewer games than those who dislike Denuvo.

Well if the developer said it, it MUST be true.

Since you seem determined to go into every single thread and call everybody that doesn't want extra bloatware on their computer "poor", I have over 1,800 games on Steam, and was willing to pay even the inflated price they have on offer. Something like $40 would be more reasonable considering it's hardly new but if it means sending a message to the industry then fine, I'll bite that bullet. But Denuvo has been openly slowing games down for over a decade now, and there has been pushback every single time it happens. I have zero intention of supporting it's inclusion in any product. There is direct evidence of this as seen across the dozens of games that have either been cracked or had Denuvo removed after the fact over the years - it makes your game run worse, period.

If they remove it a few months from now, I'll consider it on a light sale. If they don't, then that's very unfortunate, but hard pass. I've got more than enough in the backlog to tide myself over for years. But, if they remove it pre-launch, then they've got me on board again.

You can still salvage this.

I have bought the game, am I allowed to complain? I think when the publisher actively blocks half of the world from buying the game, it's an absolutely ♥♥♥♥ move to not let those who may want to, but are unable to purchase it legally, play it.

I believe the developers because since they did all kinds of testing.

Then you are incredibly naive.

Well then so be it since I had never had any real problems with running Denuvo enabled games.

I've never once been punished by Denuvo, like 99.99+ % of all other gamers.

This old argument it punishes legitimate customers is so old.

Ah yes, the famous debunked YouTube channel posting more garbage comparisons. You should do a bit of research into him.

A lot of times testing is done befor DRM is properly implemented. So there is a good chance thats the case here aswell. Full on effects we need to wait for release for, but Denuvo has gotten its reputation not for nothing. And devs saying on Twitter that its fine, doesn't mean that its fine.

There were very few times where Denuvo was bad and it was caused by the developer. Back when Sonic Mania had Denuvo Sega thought it was a good idea to update the version of the DRM to the latest version at the time which ended up breaking the for pretty much everyone due to the fact that version of the DRM was NOT ready to be used. And there was the issue with Persona 5 Royal where there was an issue that users on Linux that users were trying to troubleshoot and anytime they would change the version of the Proton compatibility layer they wound up using a Denuvo activation which they used up all 5 fast locking them out of their own games for 24hours.
