they all sell dlc separately nowadays. what are y ou talking about? DLCS were free to the base game like 20 years ago.

I was under the impression dlcs would come with the game i guess not - _ - Shift Up was probably going too give them for free and PSN was like nope let them peasants pay for it >_>

Ever noticed how Steam offers dlcs separately at a price? Stellar Blade steam page right now isn't showing it but it will eventually.

Honestly it's not a scam rather it's stingy. Usually a game port at launch should be discounted to $45-$50 due to it being a year or 2 old game with a deluxe edition including DLC and bonuses set at $60 and eventually base price $60 after launch. But this game was technically set at $70 on PS5 for as the new pricing for "high end" games so $60 base game is somewhat fine.

The problem lies with the complete edition which I would consider the deluxe version is priced at $80. This is due to all the changes recently with game prices and Sony or Shift Up decided to jump on the bandwagon. If the complete/deluxe edition was priced at $70, then I'd consider that normal as the discounted non-deluxe base game is $60.

The default price after launch could be $70 base game and $80 complete/deluxe for all I care but the launch for ports should always be discounted as it's already old.

Instead here we are with an $80 price tag on a DIGITAL game with no sign of a discount at launch, that is also

2. Region locked
3. PSN login required cosmetic exclusives

Should have seen this coming from a gacha company tbh, of course they want to milk players as much as they possibly can get away with. They wouldn't try to sell you 60€ skins otherwise. I'm skipping this unless I can get it at a DEEP discount. I've got other games coming. I hope Wuchang: Fallen Feathers don't do the same ♥♥♥♥.

I'm too scared to pre-order anything nowadays, however I'm very much looking forward to it. It will be a day 1 purchase if it plays as good as it looks.
