The protagonist is a woman so I'm worried it might be woke. Anyone know?

I know shocking. Biology can be so cruel.

Shift up gave the people what they have been craving for the last decade and cashed in well.
Otherwise they wouldn't reward their staff with a huge bonus and and a ps5 pro.

Glad you are at least honest about that, but why play coy and use woke as a throwaway comment for essential "I can't fap to that." If everybody would be honest, hey all the good, you can have your games. But crying woke, because not every game follows the "I want to fap at that" logic and frankly does not need to.

Also I could do less with your condenscending tone. Just because male gaze does exist, does not excuse the behavior in "every game that is released that is not for the male gaze audience."

Look, here is a game for you, if you like it. Please enjoy to your fullest. I sincerely mean it.

having sexy characters has nothing to do with fapping to it. women prefer sexy females too. we are just sick and tired that western dev deliberately make characters ugly and badly written. male or female. sexy women exist in the real world.

oh, i will enjoy it again. already played the crap out of it on the ps5.
having a pretty protagonist isnt the main reason i play the game. the combat is smooth and fast. verity on enemies and bosses. lots to explore. alright story with some small twists here and there. different endings. well, 3 really but to me, the replay value is there.
also the characters are well enough written.

and so you know, some of my favourite games have male protagonists. duke nukem, quake, max payne, doom. half life.

Its a shaming tactic, that doesn't work anymore, its pathetic.
