Stellar Blade™

Stellar Blade™

Will it be uncensored?
I haven't followed the game much since it launched; did it ever get uncensored?

Reference for the last bit of info I'd read on it around launch - https://deidetected.com/games/stellar-blade/

I talked about this with Dudaru, I don't need to go over it again with you sorry.
Now you are randomly quoting the same thing from me twice? Replying to God knows who, are you okay over there?

Sorry if I am talking to the same person over and over again. I'll try to remember.

Okay, and? Just because no one talks about it anymore, or that there's more revealing costumes now, doesn't mean it wasn't censored.

And it's not irrelevant if you care about censorship, because it never should have happened. Maybe one of those censored costumes was your favorite costume, but it's ruined because of censoring forced from Sony?

Sure, one of the first mods in this game will be restoring those costumes, but again, it should have never happened in the first place. If you care about censorship, you still complain and it's never irrelevant.

Dummy, PS5 version is NOT censored. They changed a few outfits with day1 patch BEFORE actual digital release. They stated that's the way they wanted outfits to look. Surely someone will make mods to "uncensor" these outfits if that's your concern

Okay but what about blood? Why is nobody talking about that? The final release is so mild.

The blood thing is the only legitimate gripe of 'censorship' and I agree it should be added back, no way you are hacking and slashing through hordes of enemies and remaining squeaky clean

I think the game will be ported as it is right now on PS5. But i guess mods will give more opportunities here and especially fix that silly wall graffiti drama.

Watch your mouth, and read my first post in this thread.
нет цензуру не снимут, нужно ждать моды!

censorship is never a issue in PC. U need to trust the talented modders !

mods will fix it and more xD
The game was censored twice on ps5. At first they had to cencor her outfit so that you would not see genitals and after that they had to censor graffity in the game that according to US standards was refering to a racist group.

I deep dived this more than most, or anyone. Recording footage from release day through several patches etc.

1.0 was incomplete.
Disk had "white monsoon" but it was still an exact copy paste of blue monsoon (still blue) so they hadn't finished creating and tweaking costumes yet the data was on the disc. 1.01 - what reviewers downloaded had already "finished" the designs and 1.02 - the day one patch added ng+ where you can unlock the color variants, has additional enemies, skills etc.

Also the gore of one scene from the demo was moved, not removed from the full game.

All evidence points towards different teams still making changes and catching up with each other right through till v1.003. When they changed the modules tool tip to stop showing an "unfinished" moutan peony outfit. As of 1.003 there doesn't seem to be any pre release remnants visible in the game.

Others outfits like punk top. If you see the original outfit used to scan. The text on the top was added etc. So their costume creation process is heavily based on scanning models then modifying them for their game.

Scanning then and adding or changing details doesn't necessarily mean censorship. Maybe they never had an agreement with the original outfit manufacturer or designer to be just a direct scan in the first place. Or it was just the base idea of what they wanted to play around with.

They made a blunder of not putting a disclaimer in the trailers that the images were not final and also the"uncensored in all countries" tweet can easily be interpreted in so many ways when it's most likely supposed to be when comparing the released product in other countries. Try watch comparison scenes of GTAV in Japan for example. Pants don't get dropped, people just stand and talk instead of being bent over on a table etc. That's what they were more than likely referring to.

Yes, it was. Gaming Urnolists complained about a rest stop sign and graffity that said "hard". Shift Up then released a patch day one that changed it up, along with several outfits. Those who purchased the game physically, had the game and were easily able to prove the game was in fact censored. Shift Up did eventually release uncensored versions of the censored outfits but it took them a while to do so.
