Stellar Blade™

Stellar Blade™

Will it be uncensored?
I haven't followed the game much since it launched; did it ever get uncensored?

Reference for the last bit of info I'd read on it around launch - https://deidetected.com/games/stellar-blade/

One thing that did upset me was severely lowered amount of blood compared to the demo.

The game is called STELLAR BLADE, I want to see a satisfying visual feedback of cutting things with a BLADE, I'm not hitting enemies with a stick I got off the tree.

Well, where are those clothing pictures coming from then as shown in the links? Fakes as in modified by those who wanted a little bit more exposure?
I take it reading isn't your strong suit?

When the the Demo build that was released was an earlier version of the Demo where one set of pictures comes from 1.0.0.0

Then, when they updated the Demo with what they always intended the final outfit styles to look like, that is where the other set of images comes from 1.0.0.2 and people raged about it screaming censorship:
"We are aware of the issue The version we ended up showing was a day-one patch version It's not an answer that will satisfy users anyway Internal discussions are ongoing"
"However, the final costume that we wanted to show you is indeed the costume in version 1.0.0.2."

Due to people crying and throwing a tantrum, they added the 1.0.0.0 versions that were never intended to be the final product into the game for version 1.0.0.3:
"The update also quietly adds two new outfits that have been the subject of controversy over the past few weeks - Midsummer Redhood and Midsummer Alice. These are, effectively, the more revealing versions of the Bunny and Cybernetic Bondage"

Reading is what I do all the time, it's my every day thing. But thanks for having me read what you wanted to say. So it was after all a demo version to finally get to the final release version.

This game was censored on PS5 but seeing that Sony is publishing this has me worried.

Everything I just said was in the original comment you quoted

Yes, all the tantrums were thrown over a Demo Version of the game and not the final product. Shift UP stated that the Updated Outfit in the Demo that people cried about was always the intended version and to appease them for Version 1.0.0.3 of the Full Game they added the "Uncensored" outfits back as variants

I think both uncensored and censored, or demo version and final version however you want to call it, both look just fine. I am not arguing.

Where did you see this information?

I just went by the OP's link to state what I originally had stated, but as Duramu pointed out, the uncensored clothes that Eve has as shown in the link aren't meant for the final release. Think of the uncensored version as beta skins.

Not only by the link, I also saw similar rumors before that mirror what the link shows. But at the end of the day, Duramu indicated that Shift Up had decided to change the clothing designs a bit for the final release.

mods bro also there is way more skimpier outfits in this game current state then in the 1.00 version of the bunny and that other outfit they basically confirmed we are not only getting the nikke skins they showed in the trailer but the winter skins, summer skins which use the design showed in the 1.00 version, the nikke outfits which imho are way more lewd than the skins in the screenshot. the biggest than is if you want to use those designs im pretty sure there will be mods for them day 1

I talked about this with Dudaru, I don't need to go over it again with you sorry.

“Understandably, we also recognize this issue. However, the final costume that we wanted to show you is indeed the costume in version 1.0.0.2. I want to clarify that is our final product. However, I know this answer is not enough to convince our users. There is an internal discussion ongoing regarding this, so I think we’ll have a chance to answer it soon,” the developer stated.

Then with patch 1.0.0.3 Stellar Blade Update 1.003 Adds New Boss Challenge, New Outfits, and More

The Game was never censored

Oh, the game was definitely censored and it still is censored to this day, because the original costumes were never changed back.

I can't believe that there's actually people who buy that line from Shift Up saying that those costumes were the intended versions. The intended versions were the costumes on the mastered discs that were shipped, and the last minute alterations came from you know who. Studios must love people like you who would take that load of malarkey at face value.

Honestly, do you really think that Shift Up would come out and just straight up say that Sony made us change them? Ever heard of the phrase "Don't bite the hand that feeds you"?

The additional costumes that were added later on was an attempt to quell any outrage / distrust, while not admitting that it was originally censored. Reversing the changes on the original costumes would be admitting what everyone knows Sony has been doing for years, which is interfering with games and forcing censorship and changes on games.

I was hoping this would release self-published by Shift Up, but we weren't that lucky. Sony is not at all trustworthy and have been a cancer to the industry for quite some time now. Maybe that will change, but I'll believe it when I see it.

There are costumes in the game that are WAY more revealing than the few ones that got censored; WAY more. I have all the costumes and nobody talks about the censorship anymore because it's a irrelevant at this point.
