Bug?
Hey I am having this problem today. When I start a race, whether it be with a controller or keyboard, I hold down the clutch and accelerate, as I usually do. But today instead of staying still it just goes forward immediately and fouls me. What is going on? I first thought it was my controller, so I switched controllers, only to find out it had the same issue. So then I tried keyboard, and it worked once, but now I am having the same issue with keyboard. Any idea on what is going on? It is not like I don't know how to play this game, I've played a fair bit of it in the past week or so. Also, if it helps, I use SCP for my controllers.

As far as I remember on Easy there's no clutch mechanics per se and you just tap the same button in order to start. So if you think you're on Advanced and try holding the clutch, that would start immediately and foul you, were you on Easy.

Up until I made this discussion, I've always done it like that, and it just worked. But suddenly it stopped working. The only way I am able to actually start a race is if I do nothing and wait for the gate, but I feel that it slows me down.

but then what is the point of having a clutch then?

also I just found that if I don't press anything, the clutch is being held in as if I am pressing it down even though I am not
