1 month Online pass active??

Jut purchased the game to check it out...... gotta say I am kinda on the fence with this one. But what really got my attention is a message that says 1 month pass active until 18 September 17 when I play online matches.

What exactly does this mean????

also curious as I was looking to buy. But since there hasn't been a dev update in two years, I'm thinking it's abandoned.

Well, I have left a message with the team on their website and will await an answer. If I don't get one before my 2 weeks expires from the purchase date, I will get a refund as I don't want to be stuck with an Okay game with no real options for tanks.....

Well, it expired and the only options I have are Easy target practice and Tank Battle in MP.
Oh, and 3 tanks.

NO response from Dev's to alert me that this might happen though.

Oh well, at least I have campaign.......

Yeah they did this with their other game, Warbirds, the online component is locked behind a monthly subscription:

"While WarBirds Online is free, IENT is a business, so of course there are limitations. During the first month online, you have complete access to all features at no charge. After the first month, you can still play free, but you are limited to an early war plane set, which varies from arena to arena. To access the full set of all aircraft in all arenas, Steam players can purchase day, week or month passes, which range from $2.99 to $15.95. If you just want to play in a specific event on a specific day, the Day Pass is best for you. If you want to play with the best planes, against the best players, whenever you want, the Month Pass is your best choice."

Guys, the game is being updated about every other month. If you have signed up and did not get your free month, we can check it out in the database. Email us at customerservice@ient.com and we will get you driving all the tanks ASAP. We are working on a 2020 version now using Unreal 4. Our M4 Tank Brigade has all the features of our successful M1 Tank Platoon from MicroProse, my first company. Command up to 4 tank platoons, jump between platoons or to individual tanks. Breaks my heart whenever i think abouth this. Here and on WWII Online forums too.(though since the original team went broke long ago, reality was breathing down the neck of the new volunteers constantly, they, they know)

So i dont know its just the straight poker/PR face or the clock did stop on 2003 Groundhog Day.

It okay tho since we still have the single player game as an exhibit. Would welcome Panzer Elite too, but that seems GoG exclusive, and PE Action is mind numbing.
