Is there any way to see DS4 inputs instead of 1,2, etc?

No but the game supports Xbox icons(X,Y,A,B...) Maybe you can simulate a Xbox controller using your controller to undertand better the buttons.

I think I didnt do anything special, but if everything fails, get DS4Windows

I'm using windows 10

Go to device manager -> human interface devices and disable other controllers that might conflict with main controller, in my case the PS4 controller.
