* In episode 3, if you destroy all CPU pods before you get the task to do so, you will get a counter that shows 0 that doesn't go away even when you move through a bulkhead door. The task does not count as completed, and the holodeck does not let you progress.
* The "warehouse" holo simulation worked ok for me, but the "train station" simulation ended (twice!) on a black screen with 0 Zombies, while sounds, shooting etc.kept working. I blew the last "zombies" up, the first time with a crate, the second time with a rocket launcher. There is no way to complete the game from here other than to quit to the main menu and reload the last autosave, which puts me at a point before the simulation started (don't remember if the holodeck, or the entrance to the rec area).
* Not a bug, but why does "new game" delete the existing save-games? All it really needs to do is overwrite the autosave, which would be expected anyway.
* I was surprised that damage taken in the holosim transferred back into the "real" game.
The new game needs to clear out old instances of saved planet surfaces and some maps you visit in FPS mode. Otherwise if you started a new game it would be possible to goto a planet you visited in another play and see your probe and tanks in previous configuration.
Happy Easter to you :)
Either way, that means it's not as simple as I had assumed it would be.
Thanks, to you too.
If you loaded a save game from earlier instance it would show you proper configuration for the time. This way a planet you visited in Episode 1 won't have old units in Episode 2. Quest specific ones even go as far as removing instances if it detects a restart from loading save or the player dying.
