I'm using an F310 as well. Try switching to directinput and remapping all your keys.

Using F310 as well, was able to add quite a few controls including attacking in from the games settings but still some I haven't figured out such as skipping cutscenes with the controller.

Any suggestions on a good layout for this?

X . Normal attack
Y . Strong attack
A . Jump
B . Musou
LB . Guard
RB . Special
LT . Horse
RT . Map
Select . Switch character
Start . Info
R3 . Rage
Left . Next skill
Right . Next skill
Up . Use skill
Down . Command

This should be the default as far as I can remember. I set the escape to L3 because theres no other button left... the skip cutscene is R3 I think.

Originally had XYAB set as that but then switched to direct input to fix some issues which it's defaults are all the those except XYAB which I will now have to remap because it's really messed up lol.

The other buttons though, thanks for that. Those look like they should work well, Haven't played SW since 3 when it came out :p

When I first started the game, all the Player 1 controller inputs were unset (only movement was bound). I had to go to the Dojo screen to access the control options and bind my buttons from there.

Alright got all those controls set, now my only issue left is B being select and Y to go back. Prefer A to be select and B to go back so time to do some more configuring. Xinput had that by default just not dinput

Yeah that was how it originally was for me on Xinput, issue there was I couldn't move the camera with the right stick or skip cutscenes which you can with Dinput.

Switched to direct input and remapped the inputs and the controller(logi F710) is working perfectly now albiet with some quirks. Confirm and unconfirm are now B & Y. Select and start dont function normally in menus and if you cant get something to work you just press random buttons until it works again....*shrugs*.

Yeah B and Y are my main issues, don't like that setup at all so gotta try and change that somehow. Rather it be A and B.

But this is at least something, better than what I got from xinput at least I can move the camera now with the right stick and skip cutscenes.

For me, i have an afterglow 360 controller and only hitting r3 of my right analog stick works. Forced to use LT and RT for camera.

Also means i don't have enough buttons to bind everything to :/
