some of them cracks the file, so it's free, but illegal, can't be used online, save games is just for them to play the game for fun.

Not tied to game. All they need is a crack from skidrow or codex and bittorrent. Then mount the ISO and be a pirate. Occasionally the game screws up when they get a save file with DLCs.
