Is anyone actually able to get downsampling working with this?

I tried the link but it just seems to be upscaling 1920x1080 to 4k since you cannot select a higher resolution than 1920x1080 in the ingame settings. Normally when using Gedosato it injects the higher resolution (like 4k) into the game so that you can then select it ingame and downsample to the monitor's resolution.

yeah is what you said. but it still look way better than just 1080. is not a real 4k but looks good

Thanks for the reply. I didn't see a difference so I'll try it again. Are you playing with fullscreen or window set ingame?

Still didn't notice an improvement so I switched to using the method linked below. I am able to force the resolution to 2560 x 1440 (my monitor's native resolution) and the ingame character models look much sharper now.

Searched for the following group with writable unchecked in Cheat Engine as described in one of the posts further down in the link.

2:640 2:360 2:480 2:800 2:450 2:600 2:1024 2:576 2:768 2:1280 2:720 2:720 2:1280 2:720 2:768 2:1280 2:720 2:960 2:1280 2:720 2:1024 2:1600 2:900 2:900 2:1600 2:900 2:1200 2:1920 2:1080 2:1080 2:1920 2:1080 2:1200

Hmm. Well I took some screenshots but not sure if you can see the difference with them?

For me since my monitor is 2560x1440 resolution it looks a tad blurry ingame when playing at 1920x1080. Thus forcing 2560x1440 is an improvement for me. If your monitor's resolution is higher than 1920x1080 give it a try yourself and see if you like the results.
