About Chip’s Challenge 2
When we last left our hero 25 years ago, Chip McCallahan had won the heart of Melinda the Mental Marvel and they were celebrating together at the Bit Busters annual eprom.

Now a new challenge has been issued by the International Brain Game Club. As the two best Bit Busters, Chip and Melinda have a fresh set of levels to beat together, which have been created by Vladimir Gerajkee the Puzzle Master from a combination of new & old monsters, hazards and game elements.

It's been 10 years since we launched Chuck's Challenge, so we wanted to honour this by creating a new remastered version. Over the last 14 months Chuck’s Challenge 3D 2020 has been rebuilt for desktop and is available now as a free update as a thank you for all the people who've bought CC3D on Steam:

Remastered Graphics
CC3D 2020 runs in the latest Unity 3D game engine, plus Woop has got a new higher resolution body.

Redesigned GUI
The Graphic User Interface has been redesigned, so no more Windows 8 horizontal scrolling interface.

Refined Gameplay
There's a new optional hop animation that lets you clearly see which square Woop is in. You can play the game at three different speeds depending on your mood. Plus loads of other features such as the number of Steps to complete a level is now counted.

It’s all been possible as we finally found a solution to the Microsoft immovable object vs. the Valve unstoppable force problem. Basically a config file needed to be set a specific way, but the knowledge of how and why was lost over 10 years ago.

The outcome is SteamWorks is now running as it should within Chip's Challenge 1, so you can play the game offline finally.

We’ve been making Ben 10 games for over five years, and now we are super excited to be bringing the 5th game in the series Ben 10 Game Generator 5D to Steam for PC, Mac & Linux.

Chip’s Challenge is one of the first games to have a large modder community. They worked out how the level were coded and reverse engineered a tools to make their own levels. That’s why we are modder fans and left the Steam code accessible.

To further support this you can now select multiple skins, like this one from scutilla

Music and SFX now have volume controls rather than simple on/off states.

Want to play the game without any scrolling animation, like when PCs couldn’t handle the raw graphics power needed by Chip’s Challenge 25 years ago, now you can.

Finally you can manually set what width you want or simply leave it on auto for the game to decide. So will you choose 4x for 4k, or have it the original tiny version?

Time is a funny thing. Chuck’s Challenge 3D was released first on Steam, but Chip’s Challenge 1 & 2 were created beforehand, but due to rights holder ‘fun’ Chip’s Challenge 2 was blocked from being released for 20 years. So which game is older Chuck’s Challenge 3D or Chip’s Challenge 2?
