Hospital Manager

So.. is this just a Theme Hospital clone?
Preview video sure looks like it.

I love the original Theme Hospital and still pay it from time to time. Would this game be worth getting?

As far as I can tell, this is actually a mobile game. There's at least one gameplay video on YouTube. From the looks of it, rooms are fixed size and interiors in them pre-defined. That's all I could really tell watching it, which is sort of a disappointment. From some of the screenshots it might look like the gameplay is click-to-collect-money and such known from other mobile games. Might be okay otherwise though, I don't know. At least it's cheap.

Yea, for $3 I'll give it a spin. Would love to see a modern day Theme Hospital remake though.

I think this is the next game that the Cities: Skyline team should work on!

theme hospital was a hell of a game, still fun to play

I came here for the same reason, anyone who has played it reckon it compares? I still can't believe there hasn't been a remake or sequel to Theme Hospital, one of the most well loved games from that generation.

It's a lot like Theme Hospital, but sadly, you don't get to design your own hospital walls and rooms in this one. All the rooms are the same size and you just pick what to put into each already pre-drawn room.

Here is the link of my 24 minute long "first-play" video which is also link to from my review:

Welcome to the Greenlight problem. Fancy graphics or sexy girls on the title (not even in actual game itself)? Approved. Kids are killing Steam... That's the basis for greenlit games now a days. Sad.

Don't worry, all games will be automatically greenlight one day - then there will be more choice - which is a GOOD thing.

No. Steam is killing Steam.

They'd have got away with it too, if it wasn't for those meddling kids. You know, the ones who keep calling crappy games, crappy.

Those guys are the future. Don't disparage them.

If you want steam to be like google play then it's well and alive. Angry Birds was kinda fun. The less crap that is permitted to grace my steam client, the better.

Steam dying wouldn't mean PC dying, Maybe Origin is the steam of the future. Pick your corporate winner. I'll stay with steam for now because Early Access is a fun thing.

My 1000 Steam games and 2 origin games indicate Steam is the clear winner. Now PC DOES = Steam. Its getting rarer and rarer for a PC game whether Indie or AAA to not be ties to steam somehow. Steamworks is a massive reason for that.

for what its worth i got the original theme hospital to work on my tablet using something called corsix TH, you do need the original theme hospital disc files to run it but its fantatstic when im stuck on a bus/ train or an NHS waiting room, oh the irony :p
