Basically vr experiences where you explore some place or maybe there's high res 3d video? Steam has been really meh when it comes to finding new vr apps.

If you haven't tried it, look at the workshop content for SteamVR, specifically environment/destinations for Steam Home. There are quite a few photogrammetry based locations that are excellent examples of what you're describing.

There's nothing like Google Earth VR. It is an application still without comparison.
