WMR reverb G2 controllers can't click to "start" and use Google earth VR
Hi, I recently bought a reverb G2 and I can't use google earth VR because I can't click anything with action. I can see the controller and the headset is working but when I want to "start the tour", nothing happens. I try a lot of thing, try to search the whole web and I am not the only one with this problem but nobody seems to have found a way.

Same here...tried everything and still no solution resp workaround! Seems that nobody can help and not all of us are affected...

I agree with you, it's crazy that we don't all have the same problems when we all use the same equipment! I've tried lots of things since, but none of them work. It seems that the HP reverb G2 is the most disappointing headphones I have had in hand ... I feel myself returning it honestly ...

I'm not convinced it's the G2. I have the same issue. The current work around is to install oculus store and get it on there with revive :(
I'm not doing that though so I will never experience google earth vr :(

Thank you for your answer. I finally did the same as you and turn myself to revive and use my Google earth VR with it but I do not accept this workaround as a solution. My guess IS that IS because of the application not the G2 but that I really not understand IS why some of us has this issue and some has not. Maybe it is because of the graphic card (3090FE for me) or the processor. I try something "funky" that you Can test. Start GEVR (Google earth VR) and click start tutorial. You will be able to click on the trigger and the blue point to move the earth seems to work but when you try to drag the earth...nothing happens.

If it can help I think I could have a clue of what is happening and this has nothing to do with the G2. I try to use my xbox controller (It seems to be supported by GEVR) and guess what ? Nothing happened...so I think it's not a G2 problème but this is the google earth application with another thing (software maybe) who cause the bug. I would like to find a log file or something to help. My mentor always said "the truth is in the log young padawan"

Just a little update. I am working on Reddit with some users of the G2 who have not this issue. I have compared the log of a functional GEVR and mine and for the application this is exactly the same. My case to Steam is a BIG disapointement. Their answer is to contact Google and change bindings. Google says to contact Steam. I don't Know wich one I hate most...

I tried it by myself, unfortunatly it's just revive injection parameters so it will not help...don't know what to do now...

Guys you can try this workaround, it could help maybe, particulary the second part :

To delete SteamVR without affecting other installed games or tools:
Go to the Library in your Steam client and select "Tools"
Right-click on the SteamVR tool in your list
Select "Uninstall..." from the menu
Click "Delete" to remove the installed content from your machine

In some cases, you may need to first remove the SteamVR USB devices before you can uninstall.

If removing SteamVR fails, do the following:

Go to SteamVR > Settings > Developer > click "Remove all SteamVR USB Devices."
