Valve Index - How to rotate
Hi all,

Noob VR guy...
How do I rotate the map with a Valve Index - it seems to be asking me to use a button I dont seem to have (the images in game are not of the index controllers).

Many thanks

I have the Index HMD and controllers, and I was wondering the same thing. I found that using the Index controller's trigger button while aiming at a desired point on the globe, clicking it and dragging with your hand will move the player around the globe. Another weird thing with the Index is that when moving in this way, the FOV (field-of-view) narrows significantly, making it hard to see around you and where you're going to "fly" to. I think this FOV-narrowing is a problem on the Index since Google Earth VR was developed with the Vive or Oculus's FOV specs in mind. Hopefully Google will update this title and add full Valve Index HMD and controllers support!

Have you tried turning off comfort mode in the options?
Vapeboy, no I did not see that as an option, I'll take a look! Thanks!

Every button on the VR image has an equivalent on the Index. Experiment.

grip and twist your fists inward or outward to rotate... but it's not really great. It's better if you can stand and turn around as you navigate, granted this is harder on the knees and you look like a dork :P
