Google Earth VR

Google Earth VR

Possible to load KML/KMZs?
Is it possible to load KML/KMZ files within the current EarthVR package? I don't see options directly in the software but am curious if its possible by dropping the files in the applications folder structure. It would be very cool to drop pins and linear features in google earth then boot up VR to view them in relation to the the surrounding enviroment.

Yes. Google Earth VR would be such an amazing tool for data visualisation. Please allow us to get data into Google Earth VR! - Support for .KML would be a nice low-entry-barrier first step.

This would be fantastic, I have a whole bunch of static and dynamic data I would like to overlay onto Google Earth VR
Yes this would be great! Loading in KML, or even a basic API to create shapes ... Amazing!
I agree as well. Getting into some research work, and interactive displays. This would be soooo so helpful!
Bumping this thread! Please allow some type of desktop bookmark interaction and/or loading of .kml files! Thanks!
Yes that would be great. I need that to show my Tours.

I would like to add my name to the list of those requesting this addition.

Especially since it can be combined with Google's Timeline & Takeout features, allowing one access to their location history in Google Earth VR.
Since Google is dragging their ass on this, here's a link to what Mapbox is doing: https://www.mapbox.com/unity/

Very cool stuff, thanks for the link. I wish the devs would at least reply to the thread. I haven't found any other place with any communiciation about this app with the devs.
I would also like to have the opportunity to import KMZ files with georeferenced 3D models!
