Street View Not Working - need it for workshop

Hey Guys, I'm working on running google earth workshops for Seniors and School students but having a problem with the viewer. So I can only view a select certain photosheres, 99 percent of streets and places in a city won't let me go into the view. I'm also not sure how it decides what I'm trying to look at for street view, half the time it holds up my old view instead of seeing if I have one where I'm at. It'll say I can't look at an area, yet when I go one block up and go intro streetview I can navigate to it. Any idea whats up?

Maybe I misunderstood the app, but from what I understand if a photo is in google maps streetview it should be in this google earth street view

In fact, you need to turn "map mode" (on the left-hand controller).
Not 3d satellite mode.
And then you'll see a sphere over your left-hand controller, if there is a Street View or 360 Panorama available.

You can "dive" in that sphere to sneak-peek, or press right controller to go into Street View the usual way, as it is on desktop.

It's not really comfortable, it takes time to sort it all out, but, thankfully, Street View is there.

Also, there is a program "Wander" that is much more convenient, it even has voice search, but it is for low-end Oculus headsets (GearVR and GO) only.
