Game not loading

So after not playing for a couple of weeks I decided to hop on and play only to get a STEAM error for both peggle and peggle nights. Is anyone else having this issue? Or know how to fix it? Kinda bummed I can't play.

try this out :
-Go into C:/ProgramFiles(x64)/Steam/steamapps/common/PeggleDeluxe
-There should be a single file called bass.dll
-Remove it
-Start the game
EDIT: sorry if the information is wrong,I looked thrugh and found this solution,i hope this helped you...if this still doesnt work,try reinstalling the game

If you have Nvidia, go into the NVidia Control Panel > Manage 3D settings > Program Settings.

Look for popcapgame1.exe
It may be listed as "Wild Tangent Game: Zuma Delux (popcapgame1.exe)"

Set "Monitor Technology" to "Fixed Refresh"

Same issue here. "Unable to load Steam.dll" I tried both removing bass.dll and renaming it to Steam.dll (since there is no Steam.dll in the files that I could find) and neither has worked.

Mine finally seemed to have fixed itself after all the suggested fixes failed, unfortunately, all of my game progress is gone. I literally have to start the game all over. I'm not sure if this is a glitch or some kind of bug or what. I know Peggle isn't that complicated of a game, but still not thrilled that I have to redo all of my completed levels all over again.
